Multiframe Webinar 3 - Working WIth Loads

Multiframe allows you to apply point, distirbuted and area loads to the joints, members, load panels and plates in your frame. This webinar covers all of the different types of loads as well as load case management and the application of automatic load cases due to wind, current, hydrostatic, acceleration and sea motion induced loads.

Videos

Joint Loads
This video shows how to apply joint loads in Multiframe.  play
Member Loads
Multiframe allows you to apply member loads in local and global coordinates and to apply multiple loads simultaneously.  play
Thermal Loads
Thermal loads can be applied to members. Temperature can be constant or vary through the depth of the member.  play
Panel Loads
Load panels in Multiframe allow you to apply area or pressure loads and have the tributary area automatically calculated for the members supporting the edges of the panel.  play
Patch Loads
Loads can be applied to plate patches in a similar way to panels. In addition, point and edge loads can be applied.  play
Load Case Management
Multiframe allows you to create static, combined, combination and envelope load cases.  play
Wind Loads
Multiframe's wind load case allows you to automatically calculate and apply loads on members, panels and plates due to wind pressure.  play
Hydrostatic Loads
Hydrostatic loads due to water or soil pressure can be automatically applied to the interior or exterior of a structure.  play
Sea Motion Loads
A sea motion load case can be used to calculate acceleration induced loads on a structure attached to a vessel deck and subject to vessel motions and accelerations.  play
