Multiframe News - March 2010

The latest version 11.6 of Multiframe has been released with significant new support for steel design codes.

The Steel Designer module in Multiframe now includes support for design and optimisation in accordance with the Eurocode EC/3 steel design code. EC/3 is similar to the other limit state design codes in Multiframe. However one difference is the option for country specific annexes in the code. The new release supports the core EC/3 functions as well as allowing overide of certain design parameters. The defaults overides for a number of countries are includeded and users may create their own oerides if required.

Also in this release is support for the latest release of the American AISC codes. This cod emerges together the allowable stress and limit state approaches and both methods are supported in Steel Designer.
