Learning Multiframe

The "Learning Multiframe" introductory training will take you through all the basics of working in Multiframe 2D, 3D and 4D:

• exploring the user interface, how to customise windows to optimise your productivity in the software
• modelling frames in the Frames window
  
• applying restraints
• applying point and distributed loads
• analysing the structure
• interrogating the analysis results,
  
• visualising the structure in the Plot window
• working in 3D, including
  
• clipping
• 3D view
• rendering
• duplicate and extrude modelling tools
• creating an animation

You can access the Learning Multiframe tutorials three different ways:

1. After you have installed Multiframe (including the demonstration version) you will find the LearningMultiframe.pdf document in the:
• C:\Program Files\Multiframe directory
• Start menu | Programs | Multiframe | Help | Learn Multiframe
2. You can Download the Multiframe Learning Installer, double click on the MFLearning.exe file and follow the instructions. This installs all videos and sample designs on your computer.
3. If you have a reasonable internet connection, you can follow the instructions online in Internet Explorer:
   START LEARNING MULTIFRAME ONLINE
   
   Note that the Multiframe Online Training manual is not supported to run in a Mozilla Firefox browser.

Learning Multiframe Videos

These videos correspond to some of the tutorials in Learning Multiframe. The videos are intended to support the learning goals from each of the tutorials and can be viewed independently of the training manual. The user will get maximum benefit from these videos when they are viewed before and/or after doing the "hands-on" tutorial.

	Windows Layout This video shows you the different Window layout options in Multiframe and how to switch between them.   play
	Preparing Multiframe This short video shows how to setup a "workspace" in Multiframe including a grid.   play
	Modelling a simple 2D structure This video shows you how to model a simple 2D structure in Multiframe. You will learn how the cursor snaps onto grid points and joints, how to assign a section to a member and how to display the structure in 3D including rendering.   play
	Multiframe 3D tutorial In this video you will see Multiframe specific modelling features in action that are most useful when modelling in 3D. This includes commands such as extrude and duplicate, clipping and several selection commands.    play
