Visualisation & Collaboration

Communication between team members is critical for project success. We support this for shipbuilding projects by way of the NavisWorks visualisation and collaboration modules. NavisWorks lets you walk through your ship model in real time, lets you stop and inspect items and check their properties, and helps you create high quality graphics and movies for presentation to your colleagues or the client.

 The NavisWorks modules we recommend include -

Freedom	Freedom is a free of charge 3D viewer which lets any member of your project team view and inspect NavisWorks models.
Navigator	Integrated inside Autocad, Navigator lets draftsmen view their model in real time, without leaving Autocad. As you change your model, or xref in additional drawings, Navigator's 3D display is dynamically refreshed with the latest model (Note that Navigator requires Review below)
Review	Review is the heart of the NavisWorks system and offers a wide range of viewing tools for navigating through your detailed ship model in real time. It lets you slice through the model or make parts of it transparent, and click on items to examine their properties. Review can export model files for viewing using Freedom.
Simulate	Simulate offers photorealistic or stylised rendering of your ship models as well as time-based simulation of construction sequences. Ideal for client or management presentations, Simulate helps team members communicate using images or movies of the highest quality.
Manage	Manage adds clash detection to the capabilities of Simulate and Review. Clash reports can be automatically created and emailed after design review. Clash can also be integrated with animated sequences.
