Visualisation & Collaboration

Communication between team members is critical for project success. We support this for shipbuilding projects by way of the NavisWorks visualisation and collaboration modules. NavisWorks let you fly through your ship model in real time, lets you stop and inspect items and check their properties, and helps you create high quality graphics and movies for presentation to your colleagues or the client.

 The NavisWorks modules we recommend include -

Fly Through	Integrated inside Autocad, FlyThrough lets draftsmen view their model in real time, without leaving Autocad. As you change your model, or xref in additional drawings, FlyThrough's 3D display is dynamically refreshed with the latest model (Note that FlyThrough requires Roamer below)
Roamer	Roamer is the heart of the NavisWorks system and offers a wide range of viewing tools for navigating through your detailed ship model in real time. It lets you slice through the model or make parts of it transparent, and click on items to examine their properties.
Presenter	Presenter offers photorealistic or stylised rendering of your ShipConstructor ship model. Ideal for client or management presentations, Presenter helps team members communicate using images or movies of the highest quality.
Timeliner	Timeliner brings visualisation to those responsible for planning and understanding the project schedule. It links industry standard project management software with NavisWorks' rendering and animation tools.
