Production

Once detailing of a zone of a vessel is complete, production can commence. All of the detailing modules provide production output in the form of assembly drawings, spool drawings and arrangement drawings. In addition, a number of ShipConstructor modules are provided to manage other production activities including stock management, build planning and nesting and cutting.

ShipConstructor includes the following production modules:

Manager	Provides database management including backup and imports; generating and maintaining stock libraries, reporting, user permissions and more. Optionally a report editor module can be added to create and manage custom reports.
BuildStrategy	Define and optimize the logical assembly sequence of all parts of a project while viewing any changes in 3D real-time.
Nesting	Nest all plate parts to prepare for NC generation. ShipConstructor offers modules for both Manual and Automatic nesting of plate parts as well as a ProfileNest module.
NC-Pyros	Creates NC-code for oxy-fuel, plasma, laser, router, and many other NC machines. Optionally you can add a variable angle cut and multi-torch weld preparation module to NC-Pyros.
