Initial Design
The following Maxsurf modules allow you to quickly perform initial design of any type of vessel - from naval ships to tankers, from sailing yachts to fast ferries. All the modules work on a common 3D NURB surface model and share the same intuitive Windows graphical interface.
Prefit | Automated input of existing designs from a set of data points. Optionally uses unique genetic algorithm technology to ensure the fitted surface is both accurate and fair. |  |
Maxsurf | Maxsurf offers highly specialised tools for modelling hulls, appendages and superstructures using trimmed NURB surfaces. Also includes parametric transformation, on-the-fly hydrostatics and curvature evaluation. |  |
