| Description The vessel is a third generation development by the designer, KMM, and is based on the original underwater lines. Tenix worked with KMM to modify the design to meet the requirements of minimum manning, New Zealand sea states, helicopter facilities, crew comfort, and cargo stowage and handling needs. The helicopter facilities have been designed to replicate those of the RNZN ANZAC frigates. The Tenix OPV is fully equipped for EEZ patrol and response operations. The vessel has been specifically modified to enable sea boat and helicopter operations in the required sea states. These operations have been assured by independent, expert analysis by the Australian DoD.
