Analysis
The suite of analysis modules in the Maxsurf range allow you to predict vessel performance. Whether it is stability, strength, resistance or motions, all applications work from the same common 3D NURB surface model. If your design changes, analysis can be re-run on the modified hull shape, without re-entering analysis input data.
Modules available for analysis include -
Hydromax | Comprehensive intact and damaged stability and strength. Includes weight schedule editor, tank and compartmentment definition, stability criteria and stability book reporting. Covers both conventional and probabilistic damage stability. | ![]() |
Seakeeper | Ship motions prediction for monohulls and catamarans. Allows multiple sea states, speeds and headings to be considered and produces RAO's, polar plots and animations of vessel motions. | ![]() |
Hullspeed | Resistance and power prediction using proven regression methods and potential flow calcualtions for slender hulls. Produces resistance curves and wake calculations and visualisation. | ![]() |
Multiframe | Static & dynamic structural analysis and design. Can be used for deck grillage, frame, superstructure and mast strength calculations. | ![]() |
SPAN | Sailing yacht performance prediction in accordance with the IMS approach. Calculates polar plots of predicted performance. | ![]() |
Hydrolink | Export of data to CFD analysis or 3rd party hydrostatics programs. | ![]() |
