Maxsurf is able to calculate a variety of data from your design. Before making calculations with your Maxsurf design, it is essential that sections can be properly formed. This means that sections must be closed, or have only one opening which is then closed with a straight line. If you are using intersecting surfaces and trimming, ensure that all unwanted portions of all the surfaces are removed.
